BOLO: Be On The Look Out
Nearly everyone knows the names of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Prada. And while these are excellent luxury designer brands to ALWAYS be on the look out for, there several other designer label that you should add to your look out list. (Many of these designers have done collabs with fast fashion retailers think H&M, Target, and Uniqlo. While these limited edition collabs are sometimes still worth the pick-up, their retail price point is VASTLY different).
Maison Margiela (Formerly Maison Martin Margiela)
When you see a label with a row of numbers, you can count yourself lucky! You just scored an item from the famous French Fashion House. T-shirts from this designer can retail for a few hundred dollars. The interior labels can also look completely blank with some items. Maison Martin also has a sister brand: MM6 which has a simliar look to their labels.

Comme des Garçons
This French sounding name is actually a Japanese Fashion label. Pieces can by VERY interesting with non-traditional silhouettes. The more commonly worn (and less expensive) CDG items come from the CDG ‘PLAY’ line. You can recognize these popular item by the heart with eyes logo. The more high end CDG can retail in the thousands.
Acne Studios (don’t worry, the word ‘Acne’ gets less and less off-putting the more you get used to it) is a Swedish brand and is SUPER cool.
